Eekels promotes technology

On 2 and 3 June TBI company Eekels participated in the BOTHS project.

BOTHS (in Dutch “Bedrijven, Opleidingen, Techniek, Hoogezand-Sappemeer”) stands for Companies, Education, Technology, Hoogezand, Sappemeer.” The project aims to introduce group 7 pupils in an educational and fun way to the subject of technology and to the companies in the municipality of Hoogezand-Sappemeer. This in view of labour shortages in the technology sector. Eekels gave a presentation and a guided tour to about 150 pupils and set them working on a practical assignment. It was clear that there is plenty of potential for taking steps towards a career in technology.
