Eekels Romania installs first pole of new building in Galaţi Romania

On Friday 13 October, Eekels | TBI ceremoniously placed the first pole of the new Eekels Romania building on the Strada Alexandru Moruzzi in Galaţi, Romania.

Over the past sixteen years, Eekels Romania has been working from its former premises at the Damen shipyard in Galaţi. Since this location no longer meets efficient work and sustainability requirements, and there are insufficient opportunites for the extensions required, Eekels has decided to build new premises at the same location. The new facility of over 5000m² is being built by Tancrad.

With this important investment, Eekels is realizing ample office space for its project management, engineers and other office staff, a spacious manufacturing hall equipped with a dedicated test room and a large warehouse. The office and part of the manufacturing hall are scheduled to be delivered in the first quarter of 2018. The remaining part of the building and the premises will be commissioned shortly after the summer of 2018.
