Eekels | TBI at christening of Lady Hanneke

During a festive ceremony in Delfzijl, on Saturday, September 14, 2019, the Lady Hanneke was christened by her namesake, Mrs. Hanneke Nijhoff-Faber. The Lady Hanneke is the first of a series of six new ships with a capacity of 4,200 tons and a length of 98 meters.

Part of the engineering for the E-installation of this series was provided by Eekels. The package we supplied included the PTO / PTI machine, engine room alarm installation, searchlights, a lighting installation and the internal communication systems.

Lady Hanneke was launched in Goa, India, where she was built under build number C-248 by shipyard Chowgule & Co. PVT Ltd. Lady Hanneke has already been added to the existing Lady-H series.
