Eekels | TBI delivers electrical installation Symphony Space

On Friday 9 March 2018, following a successful sea trial from the port of Eemshaven, Eekels has delivered the electrical installation of ‘Symphony Space’, building No. FS422, to Shipyard Ferus Smit in Leer. The ‘Symphony Space’ is the last of a series of six Ecobox vessels that were built for the shipping company Symphony Shipping, for which Eekels has delivered and installed the electrotechnical installation. The Symphony Space has a length of 122.5 metres and a width of 17 metres.

Eekels has delivered the complete electrical installation, comprising the wiring and installation work for their own and third-party installations, production and delivery of all coupling switches, bridge control panels, the alarm and monitoring system, and the Eekels frequency drive for the bow thruster.
