Eekels | TBI delivers two Ropax Ferries

Following a number of seatrials, Eekels has successfully delivered the electrical installation for two DFRo5510 Ropax Ferries. The seatrials for both Ropax Ferries, for which Eekels was commissioned by Damen, were conducted in Antalya.

Eekels has delivered and commissioned the electrical design, switchboards and bow thruster. The installation was carried out by Damen Antalya.

Both vessels, building number 539307 called "Nordet" and building number 539308 called "Suroit" are scheduled for transport by a heavy lift vessel in week 43. The "Nordet" and “Suroit" will be transported to the French islands of Saint Pierre and Miquelon. This archipelago is situated between New Foundland and Nova Scotia (Canada).
