Eekels | TBI offers plenty of opportunities for young talent

Eekels aims to be counted among the most attractive employers in our sector, where employees can excel and where we can attract and retain the ideal leading talents and successful professionals. We do this by offering challenging traineeships, exciting internships, and graduate programs for vocational, higher education, and academic students in the fields of installation engineering, electrical engineering, industrial automation, and technical business administration. There is also a range of options for non-technical students. Eekels has excellent contacts with a variety of educational institutions and can offer proper guidance at any level during every stage of a study.

Eekels is a division of TBI. We form a flexible network organisation together with 19 other TBI companies. Your personal and professional development is also stimulated via the holding company. Jong TBI is the youth organisation within TBI. By bringing the young people of TBI together, they are allowed to share knowledge and build up a network during educational, social and sporting activities. Then there is the TBI academy, an internal platform for education and training.

Under the motto "You're never too young to learn", Eekels organises short-term placements for secondary school students. The goal is to experience how it feels to work with a specialist in the field of technology in a dynamic, international environment. On 23 and 24 January 2020, we welcomed two third-year secondary school students from CSG Augustinus College in Groningen. After an interactive program, both interns were rewarded with an Internship Certificate and a metal panel with a slogan of their design.
