Eekels | TBI opens branche in Emmen
Mayor Cees Bijl: “I am very pleased with Eekels’ decision to invest and stay in the municipality of Emmen, and warmly congratulate the board of directors and employees with these beautiful new premises.”
On 26 June, Mayor Cees Bijl opened the new Eekels | TBI building in the Jacob Le Mairestraat in Emmen. Until recently Eekels operated in south-east Drenthe from a branch in Schoonebeek (mainly mechanical activities) and Coevorden (Greenland Engineering B.V.). As these two locations no longer met the requirements regarding working efficiently and sustainably, Eekels started looking for a new location. This location has been found in Emmen. The building is situated in a beautiful location on the ringroad, and with its workshop of over 1730m² and office space of over 710m² provides enough room for 100 employees.
Hendrik de Haan, Managing Director of Eekels | TBI: “The new branch in Emmen meets all our requirements and fits our image of being a “Partner in Technical Solutions.”
