Harry Bos, work practice coach at Eekels, has recently been nominated for Alfa’s Gold. With Alfa’s Gold, Alfa College aims to honour students, work practice coaches and training companies. The jury, led by Lambert Zwiers, chairman of NVO-NCW, had the rewarding task of interviewing the nominated candidates and subsequently choosing the the most outstanding in three categories: best student, best training company and best work practice coach.
Alfa college nominated Harry Bos as best work practice coach because of his involvement with all level 1 and 2 vocational training (in Dutch: BBL) students electrical engineering who work and study at Eekels. In the jury’s words: ‘Harry has a passion for students and enjoys passing on his knowledge to help students progress.’ Even though Harry finished second, we are proud of his achievement.
