Technology with sustainable impact

We are proud to share that Eekels Technology has reached the final of the Groninger Ondernemingsprijs 2026! Following the semi-final on Thursday, 1 October, we are among the five finalists. Public voting is now open too.

During the pitch evening, we presented our story to the jury and heard the stories of the other nominees. The competition was strong, with companies that each demonstrate the knowledge, ambition and entrepreneurial talent Groningen has to offer. This makes our place in the final even more special.

The journey so far has been a rewarding and valuable experience. It has given us the opportunity to reflect on what we have built together, share our ambitions and draw inspiration from other entrepreneurs. We thank the organisers and all fellow candidates for the valuable connections and a successful pitch evening.

Above all, this place in the final recognises our colleagues. Through their knowledge, expertise and commitment, they contribute to Eekels’ success every day. With our roots in Groningen, we work alongside customers and partners in the Netherlands and abroad on electrical engineering solutions for the maritime sector and industry. We are grateful to everyone whose dedication makes this possible.
