Eekels | TBI signs major contract with General Electric during Delfsail 2024

Eekels proudly announces that they have signed a contract with General Electric (GE), a multinational and globally operating technology conglomerate. GE is active in the fields of electricity generation, aircraft engines, and medical equipment. The contract involves building two GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) mobile containers. This significant signing moment took place aboard the Hydrograaf during Delfsail 2024.

This new contract follows a previous agreement for three containers, which are currently under construction in Emmen. The first of these containers has already been completed and handed over to GE for further testing.

Present at the signing moment were Aat van der Plas (Sales Manager GE), Ferry Waardenburg (Project Manager GE), Bart Brom (General Director of Eekels), and Chris Schepers (Statutory Director of Eekels).
