We are proud to announce the successful delivery of the FWN Adriatic, the fourth vessel in the innovative Ecobox series built by Ferus Smit Leer for shipping company ForestWave. With a length of 143 meters and a deadweight of 12,500 DWT, this ship is once again impressive in scale.

As with the previous vessels, Eekels | TBI was responsible for the complete electrical package on board. From design to commissioning, our expertise proved valuable across the board. Key components of our scope included:

• Design, delivery, and commissioning of the 440V 60Hz main and emergency switchboards
• Installation of the Marpower Automation System and Marpower Drive Cabinet
• PTO shaft generator for efficient power generation
• Complete navigation, wing, and GMDSS consoles on the bridge
• Shore connection of 2x 350A

In addition, we carried out all cabling and installation work, including third-party systems. Eekels also supplied and installed the lighting and fire detection systems, as well as the searchlights.

We are proud to have once again made a high-quality contribution to this vessel and look forward with confidence to the upcoming projects in this successful series.
