Eekels | TBI: Ulco Hoekstra succeeds Djurre Siccama
On 5 July 2017, Djurre Siccama enjoyed a festive leaving reception with his business contacts as part of the Eekels clients’ day. In his speech, Managing Director Hendrik de Haan emphasised Djurre’s many years of service and his significant contribution to the development of the Marine & Offshore Business Unit, and more specifically the international expansion since 2000.

The speech by Mr Ort, Chairman of NMT, was characterised by the comment “It is possible for a successful man to be kind!”
Trend watcher Richard van Hooijdonk then managed to fascinate the guests with an inspirational lecture about the impact of future technological developments on society and the economy.
Mr Ulco Hoekstra has meanwhile been appointed as the successor of Djurre Siccama. Ulco Hoekstra has more than 25 years of experience in electrical systems and automation systems in Marine & Offshore and has worked for Eekels since June 2013.
