Eekels | TBI wins Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding order for fishery research vessel
Eekels Technology has been awarded by Damen Schelde Naval shipbuilding (DSNS) with the order for the electrical installations for one fishery research vessel for the Angolan Government.

The order comprises the engineering, production, supervision and commissioning of the electrical installations including the switchboards, lighting installations, vessel automation system, IT networks and propulsion control system.
Engineering will be executed partially on site the DSNS Vlissingen offices as partner in the integral DSNS engineering team. Construction, outfitting, installing of the installations and commissioning of the vessel will be executed at the Damen shipyard in Galati Romania, where Eekels Romania will take care of the complete package of electrical installing works and commissioning.
Delivery of the vessel to the owners is scheduled for June 2018.
