Launching of Nordana Sky

On Saturday 21 February 2015, the “Nordana Sky”, building number FS417, was successfully launched at Shipyard Ferus Smit in Leer.

The Nordana Sky has a length of 122.5 metres and a width of 17 metres. The Nordana Sky is the first of a series of six vessels for which Eekels has been commissioned.

Eekels provides the complete electrical installation, including the power switchboards, bridge desks, the alarm and monitoring system and the frequency converter including e-motor for the bow thruster.

The delivery of the Nordana Sky is planned for March 2015.
