Launching of Symphony Spirit

On Friday 25 August 2015, the “Symphony Spirit”, building number FS421, was successfully launched at Shipyard Ferus Smit in Leer.

The Symphony Spirit has a length of 122.5 metres and a width of 17 metres. The Symphony Spirit is the fitht of a series of six vessels for which Eekels has been commissioned.

Eekels provides the complete electrical installation, including the power switchboards, bridge desks, the alarm and monitoring system and the frequency converter including e-motor for the bow thruster.

The delivery of the Symphony Spirit is planned for October 2017.
