''Nordana Star'' launching

On Friday 3 July 2015, the “Nordana Star”, building number FS 418, was successfully launched at Shipyard Ferus Smit in Leer.

The Nordana Star has a length of 122.5 metres and a width of 17 metres. The Nordana Star is the second of a series of six vessels for which Eekels has been commissioned.

Eekels provides the complete electrical installation, including the coupling switches, bridge control panels, the alarm and monitoring system and all frequency controls including the engine for the propulsion propeller.

The delivery of the Nordana Star is planned for September 2015.
