Stephan Kempen named new Yachting Business Unit manager

It is our great pleasure to announce that, as of 1 August 2022, we have appointed Stephan Kempen to the position of Yachting Business Unit manager at our Zaandam location.

Stephan is 53 years old and has 30 years of experience in the field of maritime electrical engineering. After completing higher technical training in electrical engineering at the HAN University of Applied Sciences, he worked at various maritime companies in a wide range of technical and management positions, including Alewijnse, EMC and Verhoef EMC. Currently, Stephan is already working at Eekels as a Senior Project Manager and Standardisation Manager. Stephan is extremely enthusiastic about tackling this new challenge at Eekels. Not least because the technology here is on the cutting edge and sustainability is an important area of attention.

With Stephan's appointment, the Yachting business unit is gaining a highly dedicated manager with a wealth of substantive knowledge concerning both technical aspects and the market. We wish him great success in this exciting new position!
