TBI expands Management Board

The Supervisory Board of construction and engineering group TBI Holdings B.V. has decided to expand its Management Board. Hendrik de Haan, currently CEO of Eekels Technology B.V., and Bianca Seekles, currently CEO of ERA Contour B.V., will join the TBI Management Board from 1 September 2023.

These changes are prompted by the decision of Bart van Breukelen, current chairman of the Management Board, to step down at the April 2024 shareholders' meeting. Van Breukelen has held the post since 2019. In addition, Harald van Keulen, managing director of TBI Bouw, has indicated that he will be retiring on 1 October.

The other member of the Management Board is Emiel Roozen.

The Supervisory Board intends to appoint Hendrik de Haan as chairman of the TBI Management Board following the departure of Bart van Breukelen at the General Meeting in April 2024.

From 1 September 2023, Jeroen Heijdra will lead ERA Contour as CEO, working with Job van Zomeren. The two have shared executive responsibility for the Zoetermeer developer and builder for many years.

As of 1 September 2023, technical services provider Eekels Technology will be headed by Bart Brom (CEO) and Chris Schepers, who are likewise familiar faces at that company, which has locations including Kolham and Zaandam.

Bart van Breukelen, chairman of the Management Board: "I am confident that with our new colleagues on the Management Board, we can continue to help the TBI group companies flourish and contribute to meeting the societal challenges we all face in our work every day."

Ton Nelissen, chairman of the TBI Supervisory Board, had this to say about the appointments: "We are very pleased that we have managed to arrange the succession within TBI and its constituent enterprises internally."
