Automation Project Manager

Eekels | TBI is looking for a decisive Automation Project Manager who enjoys taking responsibility for multidisciplinary projects within industrial automation. In this role, you will be responsible from start to finish for the realization of projects in the fields of both hardware and software engineering.

You switch effortlessly between technical content, organizational coordination, and client contact. With your analytical skills, helicopter view, and financial insight, you maintain control over progress and safeguard quality, planning, and budget.

What is expected of you?

• Drafting project plans for automation projects and ensuring proper execution within the agreed schedule, quality, and available budget;
• Coordinating hardware and software engineers during the design, implementation, and testing phases and commissioning;
• Monitoring the technical progress of projects, supporting design, implementation, and testing activities, and anticipating deviations in a timely manner;
• Building long-term relationships with customers by actively maintaining contact and serving as their technical and organizational point of contact;
• Leading (directly and indirectly) all involved project team members in a stimulating and motivating manner;
• Completing projects in a correct administrative and financial manner, including conducting project evaluations with stakeholders, documenting results, and initiating improvements in processes and working methods.
  

The Industry & Infrastructure Business Unit provides comprehensive electrical engineering solutions for industrial clients, among other things. We offer the entire process: consultancy, engineering (hardware & software), procurement, panel building, execution, testing & inspection, and maintenance. Our expertise lies in process automation, medium-voltage technology, and predictive maintenance. You will work alongside experienced engineers in an environment where innovation, personal responsibility, and collaboration are central.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Completed higher professional education in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation or similar;
• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position and in an industrial environment;
• Affinity with both hardware and software engineering (e.g. PLC, SCADA, EPLAN, industrial networks);
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills and able to maintain an overview;
• You switch effortlessly between technology, planning, and finance;
• Experience with methodologies such as Prince2, IPMA, or similar project management standards;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
