Function
Eekels | TBI is looking for a Chief Mechanic WTB for the Emmen location. As Chief Mechanic WTB you will provide operational management and contribute to the implementation of projects. You will be part of the Mechanical department; part of the Business Unit Industry & Infrastructure.
What is expected of you?
- Operational management and participation in the implementation of projects;
- Managing a team of in-house and temporary employees;
- Switching between project team and client;
- Ensuring high-quality and technically correct work within the agreed time and cost;
- Provide management based on quality, progress, costs, returns and deployment of people and materials;
- Responsibility for administrative tasks (work sheets, weekly statements, financial processing of projects);
- Monitor compliance with applicable safety regulations.
Environment
The Mechanical department is part of the Industry & Infrastructure Business Unit and is an important player in the field of mechanical service and maintenance activities, projects and specialized equipment construction. The department takes care of the entire process of new construction, modifications, assembly, revision, repair and service & maintenance. The market areas that the Mechanical department focuses on include the process industry, (petro)chemical industry, as well as the energy sector.
Experience
Do you recognize yourself in this profile?
- Completed vocational education (mbo) level 4 mechanical engineering or equivalent;
- At least 5 years of demonstrable work experience in a similar position;
- Positive attitude and good communication skills;
- Able to work independently, but also able to work well with others;
- Customer-oriented attitude;
- Good command of the Dutch language.
