Chief Mechanic Industry and Infrastructure

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Chief Mechanic Industry & Infrastructure for the Kolham location. As Chief Mechanic Industry & Infrastructure, you prepare the execution of the work and manage 10-25 employees, who work spread out.

What is expected of you?

• Preparing the work to be carried out;
• Managing 10-25 employees (depending on the project), who work in a distributed manner;
• Guiding and instructing employees;
• Making detailed plans and drawings;
• Developing technical specifications or changes, or discussing these with the work planner and/or project managers;
• Installation of (parts of large) electrical (strong, weak current, control, measuring and regulation, security, alarm, signalling and other specialist) installations and, if necessary, making changes;
• Preparing commissioning, performing tests and, if necessary, also performing commissioning yourself;
• Performing various administrative and registration tasks;
• Maintain contact with customers and, if necessary, subcontractors.

The Industry & Infrastructure business unit is active in the Industry & Infrastructure market segment with electrotechnical solutions. The business unit provides the entire process from advice, engineering (hardware & software), purchasing, panel building, implementation, testing & inspection to maintenance. The business unit has specific expertise in the field of process automation, medium voltage and predictive maintenance. Offering the most suitable solutions for the customer (both in terms of technology and price) is essential here.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Completed vocational education (mbo) level 4 in Electrical Engineering;
• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position in an industrial environment;
• Experience with medium voltage installations. This is a plus;
• Good knowledge of Word and Excel;
• Able to work well in a team, but also independently;
• Good communication, commercial and organizational skills;
• Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
