Electrical engineer Marine & Offshore

Eekels | TBI is looking for an Electrician Marine & Offshore for the Kolham location. As an Electrician Marine & Offshore you will work on project locations, independently or in a team, on the assembly and conversion of various electrical installations and instrumentation of projects within the sector.

What is expected of you?

• Working independently or in a team at project locations, on the assembly and conversion of various electrical installations and instrumentation for projects within the industry;
• Carrying out maintenance and overhaul work;
• Using your knowledge of assembly methods and implementation, measurement and control techniques (instrumentation) and reading technical drawings;
• Working in accordance with quality, health and safety and environmental guidelines and regulations.

The business unit Marine & Offshore supplies worldwide electrical services and systems for Marine & Offshore applications. Complete installations are custom designed and produced for installations at Dutch shipyards. In addition, complete installations are shipped as a ready-made construction kit to shipyards in Romania, Vietnam, India, China and various other countries. The electrical services to the shipbuilding industry consist of: advice, system engineering and design, delivery of customer-specific systems and/or standard systems, panel building, installation work, commissioning and service and maintenance.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Completed vocational education (mbo) electrical engineering level 4 or you are willing to achieve this through training;
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the maritime sector;
• Proactive, strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude;
• Independent worker, but you can also work well in a team;
• Good command of the Dutch language (command of the English language is an advantage);
• It is self-evident to work safely and healthily;
• Willingness to travel.
