Operational Supervisor Yachting

Eekels | TBI is looking for an Operational Supervisor for the business unit Yachting for the project location Amsterdam, Monnickendam or Kaag. As an Executor you are responsible for the operational management of the construction and delivery of one or more projects. In this position you can be deployed at one of the locations within the greater Amsterdam region (Monnickendam/Amsterdam/Kaag).

What is expected of you?

• Ensure that the project under your leadership is delivered with good quality, technically correct and within the set time and costs;
• Ability to handle complex projects, both in the field of electrical engineering and planning;
• Point of contact for our clients, colleagues, suppliers and subcontractors;
• Managing a team of 15 to 40 in-house and temporary employees;
• Act as the link between the project team and the client, manage based on quality, progress, costs, return and deployment of people and materials. In this you work closely with the Technical Manager and the Project Manager but also with fellow executors;
• Responsible for administrative tasks such as planning, work lists, checking work sheets, weekly statements, etc.;
• Monitor compliance with applicable safety regulations.

The business unit Yachting is one of the largest electrical system integrators in the Dutch yacht building industry and operates at various shipyards in the top segment of the Dutch yacht industry. As a system integrator, we are present from start to finish, designing, installing, and commissioning all onboard systems (both our own and third-party). This includes everything from energy supply to yacht steering and every conceivable technological experience on board.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Completed vocational education at level 4 (mbo)  / Bachelor level (hbo) in electrical engineering;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the maritime sector;
• Experience in a management position;
• Commercial attitude and good communication skills;
• Proactive attitude, independent, customer-oriented and able to work well with others;
• Good command of Dutch and English.
