Sales Manager eXperience AV & ICT

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Sales Manager for the eXperience business unit. We are seeking a Sales Manager who is not only commercially strong but also technically proficient in the fields of audio-video systems, control systems, information communication technology, and security systems. You will help determine the commercial strategy and translate this into concrete actions for acquiring new projects from existing and new clients. You will be involved from the initial client contact to the handover to the project team. You will not only maintain long-term relationships with yacht yards but also open new doors at yards, with crews, and yacht owner representations. In this role, you will operate both nationally and internationally.

What is expected of you?

• Client acquisition and management are your passion and motivation; securing projects is your top priority;
• To be the point of contact for our current and new clients regarding new build and refit projects in yacht building, commercial vessels, luxury homes, and apartments;
• Representing our company and the business unit at trade fairs and networking events;
• Maintain contact with customers and discuss requests with the customer in order to offer the most suitable quotation;
• Ensuring that the calculation and quotation prepared by Sales Engineering align with the customer's request and wishes;
• After securing the assignment, you ensure the successful transfer of the sales file to the project team;
• Initiating improvement proposals (process improvement, standard calculations, calculation tools) that lead to a strengthening of Eekels' competitive position;
• Execution, registration, and documentation of the sales process in accordance with the Eekels quality system.

The Experience business unit, based in Zaandam, operates under the brand name Marpower eXperience. Marpower eXperience supplies high-quality systems to the shipbuilding industry, including yacht building, commercial vessels, hotels, luxury homes, and apartments. We specialize in audio & video systems, control systems, internal and external communication systems, camera and security systems, and lighting systems.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level with a technical background;
• Several years of experience in AV/IT, experience in the maritime industry is a plus;
• You are systematic, assertive, and have strong analytical skills;
• You are flexible, stress-resistant, and customer- and result-oriented;
• You work independently and possess (commercially oriented) communication skills;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
