Sales Support Engineer Industry & Infrastructure

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Sales Support Engineer for the Industry & Infra business unit at the Kolham or Emmen location. As a Sales Support Engineer, you play a crucial and supportive role in the sales of complete technical installations and construction kits. You are responsible for calculating a reliable cost price and discussing requests with the customer to ultimately offer the most suitable quotation.

What is expected of you?

• Supporting the Sales Manager and project teams with complex sales processes within the Industry & Infrastructure market;
• Translating customer requirements into technical solutions, preliminary designs, budgets, and commercial quotations;
• Preparation of reliable cost calculations and complete quotation dossiers with high technical accuracy.
• Coordinating with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to arrive at the best offer;
• Coordinating a careful transfer of sales files to the project teams after the contract has been awarded;
• Initiating improvements in estimating, quoting, and sales processes to strengthen Eekels' competitive position.
  

The Industry & Infrastructure business unit is active in the Industry & Infrastructure market segment, providing electrotechnical solutions among other things. The business unit handles the entire process, from advice, engineering (hardware & software), procurement, panel building, execution, testing & inspection, to maintenance. The business unit possesses specific expertise in process automation, medium voltage, and predictive maintenance. Offering the solutions best suited to the customer (in terms of both technology and price) is essential in this regard.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Thinking and working level equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, preferably in (Technical) Business Administration or Electrical Engineering;
• Several years of work experience in a similar position. Experience with the Industry & Infrastructure market is a plus;
• Flexible, customer-oriented, analytical and stress-resistant;
• Independent and (commercially oriented) communication skills;
• Good command of spoken and written Dutch and English. Proficiency in German is an advantage;
