Function
Eekels | TBI is looking for a Software Engineer Systems for the Emmen location. As a Software Engineer Systems, you are technically responsible for various (sub)projects. You also perform programming and engineering activities for automation systems. In this role, you report directly to the Lead Engineer and/or the Project Manager.
What is expected of you?
- Technically responsible for various (sub)projects;
- Informing the team you belong to about your progress and the risks;
- Be able to realize solutions based on functional requirements and specifications;
- Performing programming and engineering work for automation systems;
- Communicating with team members, clients and suppliers;
- Contribute to the preparation of work budgets;
- Report (directly) to the Lead Engineer and/or the Project Manager.
Environment
The Business Unit Systems operates under the brand name Marpower. Marpower is a leader in the field of power converters and automation solutions for the maritime and offshore market. Within the Power Systems cluster, high-quality power electronics systems are developed, produced and supplied for energy storage, drives, DC distribution, grid conversion and shore power connections. These systems are fully automated by the Marpower Automation platform for, among other things, power and energy management.
Experience
Do you recognize yourself in this profile?
- Bachelor (hbo education) in Computer Science (or comparable) and you preferably have 3 to 5 years of work experience in a similar position;
- Creative and good at coming up with solutions;
- Knowledge of industrial or logistics automation;
- Knowledge and experience with the following technologies: C#, .Netcore, codeSys and industrial networks;
- Communicative skills and cooperation come naturally to you;
- Proactive approach and good analytical skills;
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
