Solution Consultant Lighting

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Solution Consultant Lighting (location Zaandam) for the business unit eXperience. The Solution Consultant has a clear vision on lighting systems and components. You are broadly oriented, but also know how to make choices between various solutions and substantiate why these choices were made and can convince and instruct customers, external stakeholders and internal stakeholders, project team members.

What is expected of you?

• Provide advice on lighting systems during the sales and implementation phase based on project data and collected information and determine the chosen solutions together with the sales team;
• Working on the design of the technical standardization of lighting solutions and maintaining standardized (detail) designs;
• Proactively communicate about the technical designs with the assigned Lead Engineers/Project Managers;
• Report deviations regarding planning, costs and quality;
• Maintain sound document management regarding your activities;
• Be an authority in the field of lighting technology, you know lighting control systems (Lutron, Dynalight, KNX), many types of drivers, luminaires and lighting strips;
• Setting up and managing innovation projects and rolling them out in the company;
• Regularly visit technology fairs to stay informed about your specialism;
• Giving lectures on lighting systems to professionals, customers and interested parties;
• Provide training on various technical solutions to our technicians;
• In this role you will report to the Technical Manager.

The business unit Marpower eXperience delivers innovative and progressive Lighting, Audio, Video, IT & Communication systems for the luxury yacht industry. Marpower eXperience has delivered its systems on yachts ranging in length from 50 meters to over 100 meters, making it one of the technological leaders in this industry.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Higher vocational level (hbo - bachelor) working and thinking level with a relevant technical education;
• Knowledge of audiovisual technology;
• Several years of relevant work experience in the implementation of large lighting systems;
• Working under pressure and taking responsibility for your work;
• Customer-oriented, you are the face of our lighting systems for the customer and our internal stakeholders;
• A good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written;
• Knowledge of Audio, Video & IT systems is a plus.
