For our Industry & Infrastructure Business Unit, we're looking for a Workforce Planner to ensure our people are in the right place at the right time. Because without strong planning, there's no successful project.

What is expected of you? 

  • Drawing up, managing and optimizing personnel schedules and the deployment of the vehicle fleet for projects within the business unit;
  • Coordinating staff deployment with operational managers and project leaders;
  • Identifying capacity bottlenecks and proactively anticipating them;
  • Quick response to changes in projects, illness, leave or urgent jobs;
  • Contribute to contract management with temporary employment agencies (this includes checking agreements made, drawing up and monitoring KPIs and implementing improvement processes);
  • Organizing the hiring of personnel in accordance with laws and regulations and ensuring the required administration;
  • Thinking about improvements in planning processes and systems;
  • Supporting the department in the implementation of (project) activities.


Environment

The Industry & Infrastructure business unit provides electrical solutions, among other services, in the Industry & Infrastructure market segment. The unit manages the entire process, from consulting, engineering (hardware & software), purchasing, panel building, implementation, testing & inspection, to maintenance. The unit possesses specific expertise in process automation, medium voltage, and predictive maintenance. In addition to electrical solutions, we also offer mechanical service and maintenance services, projects, and specialized equipment manufacturing. Eekels manages the entire process, from new construction and modifications to installation, overhaul, repair, and service & maintenance. The Mechanical department focuses on the process industry, (petro)chemicals, and the energy sector.

Experience

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

  • A completed MBO level 4 or HBO education, preferably in technology, logistics, HR or administration.
  • An affinity with technology is a clear advantage;
  • Experience with planning systems is useful, but we believe that a willingness to learn this is at least as valuable;
  • You stand firmly on your own two feet and you get energy from dynamism;
  • Clear in communication and you enjoy working with different disciplines;
  • Organizational talent and strong in maintaining an overview, even when plans change;
  • No 9-5 mentality and can easily adapt to the dynamics of planning;
  • Thinking in solutions and daring to take responsibility.
