Work Planner Service Yachting
Function
Eekels | TBI is looking for a Work Planner for the Service, Refit and Maintenance department within the business unit Yachting. As a Work Planner, you are responsible for preparing, organizing, and coordinating all activities necessary for the efficient execution of service and refit assignments on electrical installations on board superyachts. You are the link between engineering and installation. In this position, you will work on multiple service or refit projects and provide support to the project managers. Your base location is Zaandam.
What is expected of you?
- Preparation of all activities (in the technical/administrative field);
- Organizing and coordinating activities for the efficient execution of the service and refit projects;
- Ensure the timely ordering of components and monitor delivery times; if necessary, provide suitable alternatives;
- Preparation of documentation/work packages for the service technicians on board, including the timely availability of the set of required materials;
- Point of contact for service technicians regarding material deliveries and package documentation;
- Assisting in the logistical process and (international) transport(s) requested by the projects from start to finish;
- Assisting the project managers with preparing calculations and quotations;
- In this position, you report to the Service Manager.
Environment
The business unit Yachting is one of the largest electrical system integrators within the Dutch yacht building industry and is active at various shipyards in the top segment of Dutch yacht construction. As a system integrator, we are present from start to finish to design, install, and commission the electrical installations for a large number of onboard systems (both our own and third-party). This covers everything from power supply to yacht control and all conceivable technological experiences on board.
The Service, Refit and Maintenance department of the business unit Yachting consists of employees in the roles of project manager, (service) technician, and engineer. Our service department performs service and maintenance work domestically and abroad. We do this on our own systems, but also on third-party systems. In addition, we carry out refit projects.
Experience
Do you recognize yourself in this profile?
- At least an MBO-4 diploma in Work Planning, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent;
- Knowledge of (maritime) electrical engineering;
- Work experience in a similar position (this is a plus);
- Good communication, commercial, and organizational skills;
- A proactive approach and strong analytical skills;
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office packages;
- A good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
