Work preparation Yachting

The function

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Work Planner for the Zaandam location. As a work planner, you are responsible for preparing, organizing and coordinating all activities that are necessary for an efficient execution of electrical installations on board superyachts. You are the link between engineering and execution. In this position, you will work on 1 or more projects at the shipyard and you will support the project manager(s).

What is expected of you?

• Preparing all activities (technical/administrative);
• Organizing and coordinating activities for the efficient execution of projects;
• Ensure timely ordering of components and monitoring delivery times. If necessary, provide suitable alternatives;
• Drawing up documentation/work packages for internal production and/or on-board execution, including the associated timely presence of the required set of materials;
• To be the point of contact for internal production and implementation with regard to material deliveries and package documentation;
• Co-organizing the logistics process and (international) transport(s) required by the projects from start to finish;
• Assisting project managers in making calculations and quotations;
• In this role you will report to the project manager.

The business unit Yachting is one of the largest electrotechnical system integrators within the Dutch yacht building industry and is active at various shipyards in the top segment of the Dutch yacht building industry. As a system integrator, we are present from start to finish to design, install and commission all systems on board (own and third parties).

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• At least an MBO-4 diploma, in the direction of Work Preparation, Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
• Knowledge of (maritime) electrical engineering;
• Work experience in a similar position (this is a plus);
• Good communication, commercial and organizational skills;
• A proactive approach and good analytical skills;
• Mastery of Microsoft Office packages;
• A good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
